Solla Jónsdóttir wins the WJB Houston Poster Award

This price is awarded by the European Orthodontic Society for the best poster during the Annual Meeting, presenting the results of original, unpublished research on a topic of orthodontic interest.

Solla won the price for her poster entitled ‘Biomechanical characteristics of the periodontal ligament during the first phase of orthodontic tooth movement’, which she presented during the 81st Congress of the European Orthodontic Society in Amsterdam, June 3-7 2005. Co-authors are Jaap Maltha and Eric Giesen. She received a certificate and a prize of  £ 1,000. On the picture you see Solla on the right.
