By Train

Amsterdam-Airport (Schiphol) is on the Dutch railway network. Trains leave every 10 to 15 minutes for Duivendrecht., where connecting trains to Nijmegen (via Utrecht – Arnhem) can be boarded.
Other train connections: Nijmegen is easily accessible by train from all major cities of the Netherlands. Train information is given on the yellow time tables located in station halls and on train platforms.

By Highway

Coming from Amsterdam/Utrecht along the A12 motorway, take A50, direction Nijmegen. At the intersection of the A50 and A15 motorways, follow signs
" s-Hertogenbosch/Nijmegen " (A50), later take the A73 motorway to Nijmegen.

Coming from Rotterdam, follow the A15 motorway until the Nijmegen (A50) turn-off, then take the A73 motorway to Nijmegen.

From the south (Belgium), the Paris-Brussels-Antwerp-Breda motorway leads to Nijmegen (via Tilburg and 's-Hertogenbosch).

Visitors coming from Scandinavia, Germany and Switzerland are advised to use the German motorways: A3/E53 (Oberhausen-Arnhem), resp. A57/E31 (Krefeld-Nijmegen).

How to reach the university campus

By car

In Nijmegen follow the signs ' Ziekenhuizen/Universiteit ' (Hospital/University), see the yellow coloured roads on the map of Nijmegen (overleaf).

By rail

From Nijmegen Central Station trains leave every half hour for Heyendaal Station, which is within walking distance from the university (see map).

By bus

From Nijmegen Central Station to the university campus, there is a regular bus service, (about 10 minutes).
